The GP706 operates on standard household voltage and makes a wonderful beginner fusing kiln. The included 8 stand and portable design makes this a convenient addition to your home studio. Just plug it in and go off standard 115 volt. If you move your studio, it and 39;s easy to move your kiln too. No extra wiring is needed. The kiln easily holds a 13 shelf with room for positioning. The pyrometer will let you know what the temperature of the kiln chamber is throughout the entire firing. This is especially helpful to know when you are firing glass.
