pottery without a kiln
Ceramics & Clay?

I try to achieve an ambition to make a lifetime eccentric pots, plates, ornaments, vases, jars, ashtrays and all sorts of weird and wonderful nik Naks – all on clay. I do not have much money to build it start as a hobby, and I hope that if it gets enough momentum how can I sell things locally or on ebay and maybe have enough money for a kiln. My question is how can I start and what is the best type of clay used and no oven, but using a gas barbecue oven or outdoor grill (which can heat up to 800degrees – not sure that Celsius or Fahrenheit)?

If you are interested in using polymer clays, you only need a low oven regularly – Regular or a toaster oven (at approx. 265-275 F for 15-45 minutes). (Clay polymer can be cured in oven also more unusual … be burned as a powder and is never used). Enough great things can be done with polymer clay, but are generally no thicker than 1 1 / 4 "Unless a framework under which become" hollow. "All the things you mentioned could be done polymer clay, but the plates could not be eaten directly (could put clay on the back of a glass though). The polymer is good for all types of "strange and wonderful" curios, and is often used for these kinds of things. You can also use to do things that are equisitely elegant, simple and pretty, or simply no way at all … depends entirely on the machine. To learn more about polymer clay kitchen or just about anything else on polymer clay, check out my Online Encyclopedia for loads of polymer clay course, news, examples, etc..
