pottery repair?
i have a large (3 ft), well no idea what you would call it. it has a pot at the top that holds water, inside that pot you place a fountain that spins a rock ball. the rock is a little smaller than a baseball. my daughter droped the rock in the bowl and made a hairline crack that allowes the water to leak out. how can i fix it to be waterproof again?

if you know a local potter, they may be able to reglaze the pot for you.
otherwise visit your home and garden store and get a pond liner, and use a rubber cement or epoxy compound to seal the pond liner to the pot.
last idea, my sister sent me a beautiful piece of pottery, and it broke in her luggage, so she sent it with LOCTITE All Purpose Household Adhesive Dishwasher Safe.
it has worked beautifully. I would suggest filling the crack with this and allowing it to cure overnight.
