I am going to paint my walls hot pink. what type of flooring should I get? thanx?
my walls are going to be hot pink,but i need new flooring. should i get tile, harwood or carpet. and what colors. also id like to know of any crafty ideas to decroate and organize my qaurters into a shabby chick, seventeen, or pottery barn type room.
Hot pink may not appeal to you in several years, so I suggest that you do not make your flooring any color so changing your mind later will be as easy as painting your walls. A carpet will make it reminiscent of disco, tile is usually used in bathrooms and kitchens – but a black/white checkerboard would look very funky, and hardwood will give it a more airy, natural feel and tone down the brightness. If you are looking for a designer’s office type thing, go for a light shade of hardwood, some sheer white curtains, and keep windowsills white. Hang up some white lantern lights across your room and get an L-shaped desk if possible. Lots of lighting and good seating is key. Buy one of those designer’s mannequins from PB Teen and drape your accessories on it. Pin scarves to the wall or frame magazine covers and shopping bags. Good luck!
