I have a glass milk jug with a corked narrow opening. How do i clean it?
I use it for storing tapwater in the fridge but buildup occurs on the side over time. Any suggestions?
Put several ice cubes in it with a lot of salt. Swish it around, let it sit a few minutes, swish, sit….until the ice is pretty much melted. Sometimes I also put a slice of lemon in to make it smell fresh. Rinse well. I also use this to clean my coffeepot. I’ve also heard you can use vinegar, with or without uncooked rice to swish around.
