making pottery stamps
Does anyone have any information on the ceramic mug (a) Made in Japan?

I collect launchers (mostly sitting in the large glasses). When I moved recently, I found a little jar that I did not purchase agreement. I got well in a garage sale somewhere along the route. Its small (perhaps about 8 inches high) and the main part is round. It's like a little circle w / 4 small legs, a handle and beak in it. Located in a small apartment. I'm not even sure if it's a pitcher, I know not what else to call. He took a picture of a sailboat on one side and a lighthouse on the other. Both sides have a border of flowers and leaves. There is a seal at the bottom. There is little leaf shaped horseshoe w / a flower or clover inside it and below it is said in Japan. Everything is still collect U.S. and that is all ceramic and pottery books to cover. I'm curious about this book and I would love if anyone had some information. Thank you!

There are a lot of Japanese pottery around! So probably a visit to an antique shop with helpful staff is the best way forward. This could be a bottle of sake, but this is something very modern tourist (I mean 20th century) as they say in Japan, so it has been for export.
