Why do they say that you shouldn’t burn treated wood in woodstove?
I have a Napolian woodstove, and I’ve been told that I shouldn’t burn treated wood. Why not? Will it hurt the stove? Also if pine is kiln dried is it still unsafe to burn due to sap? Will it still make tons of creosote? Thanks
Wood is treated with non-arsonic chem.
Most pressure treated wood is treated with chromated copper arsenate. Arsenic is poison. Just buy some firewood outside of you local grocery store, or from the guy selling it out of the back of his truck.
