how to paint a wine glass?

i want to paint a wine glass just for looks, not to drink out of… what type of paints should i use? and do i have to use a kiln or an oven?

I just painted 12 wineglasses using PermEnamel paint for glass in different colors. It takes very little time to dry and looks beautiful. They cannot be used as I’ve just found out but if you just want them for show, this works great. I hung them on a stemware rack in my kitchen and have had many compliments. I’ve also used an Acrylic Paint to paint my lamp shades.
