
What is water clay?
i mean the kind you sculpt with
what’s the difference from normal kiln clay???
and if you know enogh about it i ahve afew questions
how much more does it cost compared to normal clay?
do you put it in a kiln?
would be able to get it at highschool. if not micheal’s???or wherever if you could tell me

Water clay refers to water based clay, as opposed to oil based clay. Generally when people talk about water clay, yes, they mean the kind you have to fire in a kiln. Earthenware, raku clay, even porcelain.

But you can usually buy it at fine art supply stores (think Pearl, not Michaels) and college bookstores.
Usually I see it for sale in 25 pound bags (roughly 6″x6″x12″), with prices ranging from $10-$20 a bag, depending on clay type.
