Would this be rude or acceptable to ask this?
My neighbor is a potter and has a kilm, clay and pottery wheel in her art studio and i’m taking sculpture class so i know how to work with clay and i sorta know how to use a pottery wheel. she lives really close to me and shes a nice lady and a few years ago mentioned that i could come by and work with clay if i’d like, but that was like 3 years ago and i’m 14 and my friend who wants to come is 12 so..idk if she would think it was rude if we asked if we could come use her art studio. i don’t want her to think we don’t like her and we just wanna use her studio, that would seem selfish to me. so would it be rude or acceptable to ask her if we could use her art studio? (its in her house btw)
I think that it would be acceptable, especially since she invited you (even though it was a long time ago). If you’re concerned about seeming selfish, you could bring her a little present to thank her for allowing you to use the studio… perhaps some inexpensive flowers at the grocery store or some homemade cookies.
