Anyone know where i can get a cheap glass blowing kit and kiln?
Well, glassblowing can be tubing (torch work) or molten (furnace work) the connection with a kiln would be for warm glass or for annealing. If the tubing is borosilicate (Pyrex) you don’t need a kiln but you need a hotter torch.
A minium setup would be a Hot Head Torch burning MAPP glass and that will cost about $60 to get started.
If you were planning for the future a Minor Torch using propane and oxygen will set you back about $250 and a moderate sized kiln about the same.
If you want to do furnace working, building it yourself starts at about $1200 and goes up.
