Question for a Structural Engineer?
I need to make a concrete slab for weighing down a timber stack during drying in a kiln. The slab needs to have a minimum weight of 50lb/cft and withstand being repeatedly heated to around 140f for a few days and then cooled to ambient temperature.
What would be the best cement/sand ratio to create this slab and which grade of sand would be most suitable?
