Why can’t you just buy a cup of coffee anymore?
When you go into Starbucks or Costa or one of those overpriced and underquality coffee houses, you cannot simply ask for a “cup of coffee”
The staff look at you as if you’re mad and have asked them for the gear knob from a 1979 Ford Capri in a bucket filled with donkeys urine.
They have lists of things called Mocha, Frocha, Chocha, Frappatino, Chochotino, and Mochachochofrappachino.
Why can’t I just have a goddam mug of ground filter coffee with some milk and 2 sugars?

When I’m in town shopping or at the airport, and I feel drained and in need of a sugar/caffeinne fix, I don’t have access to the sort of coffee making facilities that exist in my kitchen at home.
Do you carry a kettle with you everywhere you go?
Ok, here’s a counter-question – considering that Amsterdam is famous for its coffee shops, why does their coffee taste like utter shite half the time?
