Glazed pottery, ceramics and pregnancy … Am I right?
Ceramics and pregnancy …. I'm fine? I work at the pottery workshop for a few hours several nights a week and wondered if I should be concerned. I am 17 weeks and did not begin until after my first quarter was over. I have no glass and glazes are mixed in the installation, so no barium and lead in the right, but I wonder if there's something in the real clay question Re: pregnancy. I have worked with clay for a long time, forgive the schpiel on silicosis (unless it is somehow related pregnany). Been a potter since many years, never have been pregnant! And if something is a risk that particles with a mask help? THANK YOU! Working with a white membrane Basic 6 degrees, if it does a difference.
