wood kiln pottery
Small Wood Fired oven Hobbie home?

Hello everyone I knew to clay all, and nobody in my area has an oven. The kids are trying to make some pottery and other things and I much prefer the idea of clay and real fire instead of using something like Sculpey Fimo in the oven. I had a friend I used to do shots in their backyard fire pit in an old, their children made pots and small bowls and used wood and sawdust to feed. Ive seen the results and went very well! Im looking to do something the same and I want to keep it small as the biggest bad thing to shoot is about the size of a pot. Any plans I've seen are the size of a barn! Can anyone help me here? And I want that the fire at normal temperature, so it doesn't leave everything super fragile. Any help would be great:)

There is a book named "Alternative cooking," describes the dismissal of several processes, without an oven mud. Pit firing, sawdust firing, raku firing, etc.
